Who we are
Hardcore PVP ("we", "us") runs the Minecraft server at hardcorepvp.com, this website, and the YouTube channel @hardcorepvpcom. This policy covers all three, including the tool we use to publish videos ("Hardcore PVP Films").
What we collect
- Your Minecraft account: username and account ID (UUID), given to us by the game when you join.
- Your connection: IP address and connection times, in server logs, for security and to enforce bans.
- How you play: kits, kills, wins, and other match statistics, shown on the Stats page.
- Match recordings: where players move, fights, deaths, and public chat during a match. See "Match videos" below.
- In-game choices: your
/moviesettings (blocked or shown, chosen voice).
This website has no accounts, no advertising, and no tracking cookies. It loads a font from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to fetch it.
Match videos
Every tournament may be turned into a video and published on YouTube. A video can show your Minecraft username and skin, what you did in the match, and public chat lines. Lines spoken "by" a player are written for the video and read by a computer-generated voice. It is never your real voice.
/movie blockkeeps your name and skin out of future videos. You appear as an anonymous player./movie voicepicks the generated voice used for your character.- The raw recording of a match is deleted once its video is made. Published videos stay online. Ask us on Discord if you want a video you appear in changed or removed.
YouTube and Google user data
Hardcore PVP Films uses YouTube API Services for one purpose: uploading our videos to our own YouTube channel.
- Data accessed: only the Google account of the channel operator who authorized the tool, with permission to upload videos. It does not access Google user data of players, viewers, or website visitors.
- How it is used: to upload videos and set their title, description, and visibility. Nothing else.
- Storage and protection: the authorization token is stored on our server in a file only the operator can read. It is not put in public code or logs.
- Sharing: we do not share, transfer, or sell Google user data to anyone. We do not use it for advertising or to train AI or machine learning models.
- Retention and deletion: the token is kept while the tool is in use and is deleted when access is revoked. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Videos are hosted by YouTube. Watching them is covered by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Who we share with
We do not sell personal information. Videos go to YouTube. Match announcements go to our Discord server. Your login is verified by Mojang and Microsoft, as with any Minecraft server. Our hosting provider stores the server's data.
How long we keep things
Statistics are kept while the server runs. Server logs are kept for a limited time. Match recordings are deleted after their video is made. Bans are kept as long as they apply.
Younger players
We do not ask for real names, email addresses, or ages, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what the game itself provides when they join.
Your choices
Use /movie block to stay out of videos. To ask what we hold about your
account, or to have your statistics removed, message us on
Discord.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top, and announce significant changes on Discord.
